SL Staffing is committed to bringing the right people and the right companies together. Whether you want a temporary, contract, part-time, or permanent position, working with a staffing company is an easy way to improve your job search.
Wear business-like attire, avoiding flashy colors, bold prints, logos and keep jewelry to a minimum.
Wear clothes in which you feel comfortable. If it’s too tight, too loose, too short or too revealing — don’t wear it!
The interviewer might have a set of questions ready for you or might base the interview off your resume.
Either way be ready to answer all questions honestly while still hitting your key strengths. It is always a good idea to bring two copies of your resume (one for you and one for the interviewer).
Your resume is your greatest marketing tool in any job search.
When writing a resume, it should tell, in a clear and concise manner, what experience you have, why that makes you unique, and how that makes you the best person for the job.
A cover letter invites the hiring manager to read your resume and tells him or her why you are the best person for the job.
If a cover letter does its job, it makes the hiring manager want to learn more about you by reading your resume and inviting you for an interview.
